not you are in North America.Each of the Galizien Village Family Books is a collection of
families who are known to be residents of a particular village. The
Genealogischen Forschungsstelle der Galiziendeutschen (GFG) (Genealogical Research Centre of the GalicianGermans) organization in
Germany created these family books by transcribing births, deaths and marriages
from original church records into family groups and then combining all the
family groups in a village into a single village book. Here is an example of what a
family group in one of the familybooks looks like (including an explanation of
terms). Considering the
long hours of time required to compile one of these village books the GFG
charges a very reasonable 5.00 Euro per village, plus mailing costs (3 Euro to 7
Euro). These village family books are sold in the form of CDROMs containing PDF
files. These CDROMs are distributed by Manfred Daum of the GFG () and the secretary of the GGD (). Ordering instructions are different depending whether or
